Who operates Early Pricing, and how can I contact them?

Early Pricing is a buying-guide website for tools, home and kitchen products, run from the United States by the Early Pricing Editorial Team. For questions or requests about privacy, email privacy@earlypricing.com.

What personal information does the site gather?

Hardly any. We have no user accounts, no paid memberships and no newsletter, we don’t sell anything, and comments are disabled across the site. What remains is:

  • Server logs. Our web host records standard details about each request, namely IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
  • Contact-form messages. If you write to us through the form, your message is delivered by email to our editorial inbox. We don’t use form data for any other purpose.

We also use Google Search Console to learn how the site shows up in Google Search; it doesn’t set cookies on your browser. The site doesn’t run analytics of its own at the moment, and it shows no display ads.

Why is it collected, and how long is it kept?

Logs help the host keep the site secure and find faults. Messages let us answer you. We hold on to each for as long as it is reasonably needed for that purpose. We haven’t published a fixed retention period.

What do you do about cookies?

The site doesn’t set analytics cookies by itself today. Affiliate links are the exception, since a store or network may set its own cookie after you click. The Cookie Policy goes into more detail.

How do affiliate and external links affect my privacy?

Our guides link to Amazon through affiliate links. Once you click, you are on Amazon’s site, and its privacy policy applies to whatever it collects. The same is true of any other website we link to. Because we don’t control them, we suggest reading their policies before you share anything. How the commission arrangement works is explained in the Affiliate Disclosure.

Is Early Pricing directed at children?

No, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, email privacy@earlypricing.com and we will remove it.

What are my choices and rights?

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or raise a concern. Depending on your U.S. state, you may have specific rights under state privacy law, including to request access or deletion. Use privacy@earlypricing.com to make a request. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser without losing access to the site.

How do you protect information?

By collecting very little and relying on our host’s security measures. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be exposed.

Will the policy change?

It may, if our practices change. In that case we will update the date at the top of this page. The Terms of Service cover the other rules for using the site, and the Contact Us page lists every way to reach us.
