What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website or a service it uses can store in your browser. They are often used to remember a setting, recognize a returning visitor or record where a visit came from.
Which cookies does Early Pricing use?
At the moment, the site itself doesn’t set analytics cookies. We don’t run display ads, so there are no advertising cookies from us either. The site also has no user accounts, memberships or newsletter, which means there are no login or subscription cookies.
We do use Google Search Console to see how Early Pricing appears in Google Search. It is a reporting tool for site owners and doesn’t place cookies on your browser. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, but those are records on the server, not cookies. The Privacy Policy describes them.
Do affiliate links set cookies?
They may. When you click one of our affiliate links, the store or affiliate network, which is Amazon in our case, can set its own cookie. Its purpose is to credit the purchase to Early Pricing if you buy. Those cookies are controlled by Amazon and are governed by its own policies, so please read them if you want to know exactly how they work. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains why the links are there.
How can I block or delete cookies?
Every major browser lets you do both. Look in your browser’s settings or preferences for “privacy,” “cookies” or “site data.” From there you can usually clear stored cookies, block them for specific sites or reject them entirely. Some browsers also offer private windows that discard cookies when you close them.
Will blocking cookies stop me from reading the site?
No. Anyone can read Early Pricing with cookies blocked. The only difference is that an affiliate store won’t be able to credit a purchase to us, which doesn’t change the price you pay.
Could this policy change?
If we add a tool that uses cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top before or when that happens.
